Dynamic 3: Our Approach to the Family 
 



The Kingdom Focused Church is committed to Supporting Families
 
A KFC recognizes that the institutions of the family and the church were created by God, and that one is a smaller/larger version of the other. To this end, we believe that God places a special emphasis on the family and that we are called to do the same.
 
· In a KFC, the first ministry assignment of every man/woman is his/her family.

·  A KFC does not allow men/women to have strong ministries and weak marriages/families.

· In a KFC, the Pastor disciples the men, the men disciple their families, the mother/father disciples the children.



· In a KFC, The primary responsibility for the Christian education of the children rests with the parents.



· The KFC equips and trains parents to disciple their children with information regarding the fundamentals of the Christian faith and the virtues which we espouse. 


 
· The KFC reinforces the values embraced by parents during youth church and other youth oriented venues.

· In a KFC, a child’s youth group is their natural peer group (e.g. boy scouts, girl scouts, sports team, etc). We are committed to helping parents equip their children to stand strong for Christ in their normal peer group. The parents also use these regular interactions as an opportunity to share their faith in their children’s circles.
